Piaget and Vygotsky Jean Piaget is one individual who has influenced the contemporary field of kid development more than others. He viewed and did not believe that childrens learning depends on reinforcers such as rewards from adults, he showed that he believed through his cognitive-developmental theory that children actively construct knowledge as they manipulate and explore the their world.
